The Dominican Consulate and community organizations have continued to organize donationsan effort that has enlisted businessmen who have made their spaces available for assistance, including creating Altagracian Committee of the United States. There will be a total of five collection points to receive donations.
Senators, the Red Cross and the Hispanic Federation are also working with donations, the latter of which set up an online system so that Dominicans in New York can make donations securely through their computers or mobile phones.
